Online Interior Designer
To create functionally beautiful spaces through online correspondence and PDF presentations for residential clients while using industry knowledge, design experience, innovative design concepts & creativity, all while keeping within the Amber Interiors aesthetic.
Responsibilities;
- To work on projects specifically via email and email PDF presentations.
- Generate plan specifications based on client needs and contract requirements.
- Be able to work within client budget and pre-existing furniture requirements.
- Work under the direction of Complete Home Project to create and present concept boards to include but not limited to: CAD drawings, mood boards, FF&E, surface materials, colour palettes & lighting.
- Curate specific shopping list for clients to purchase.
- Source and work with outside vendors to procure and coordinate all furniture, fixtures & accessories when requested.
- Communicate directly with clients.
- Manage multiple projects and rooms at once.
Qualifications;
- 2+ years of Interior Design Experience, preferably with sales experience.
- Capable of working in a versatile environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or related field from an accredited school.
- Must be proficient in Vectorworks, AutoCAd, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite & Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of furniture, finishes, materials, colour selections, & specifications.
- Knowledge of design requirements, construction methods & materials for high end residential environments.
- Great ability to multitask, work independently as well as a team, fearless & ambitious.
- Must be GREAT at follow through!
- Reliable car & willing to travel when needed.
- Ability to help haul heavy samples & small furniture items during presentations or installations.
- Familiar with Sydney Design Stores & the Digital Resources.
Design Intern
The best way to really learn how to swim is by jumping in. We will provide you with the floaties! Work closely with Kiti get the best access to really get a feel for the industry out of the class room.
Responsibilities;

- Assist with curation of specific shopping lists.
- Source & work with outside vendors to procure & coordinate all furniture, fixtures & accessories when requested.
- General technical documentation skills.
Qualifications;
- Proficent in Vectorworks or AUTO CAD
- Fluent with Creative Suite; Photoshop, Illustrator & Mircosoft office programs
- Advanced knowledge of suppliers & material applications
- Capable of producing FF&E schedules
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work in a versatile team environment
- Passionate about what they do.
- Great ability to multitask, work independently as well as a team, fearless & ambitious.
