Complete Home offers a unique approach to the design and where required approval process. Unlike your average design and build company, we combine our design, interiors and project management team to ensure we’re taking into consideration the finishes and the construction requirements at the early stages prior to approval or construction. This approach has proven to save our clients time, money and achieve a superior result from concept to completion.

WHAT WE DO, DIFFERENTLY TO OUR COMPETITORS

We fuse design and construction together creating a more effective way of renovating or approaching a build. We have the capability of utilising our design, construction ability and experience in one holistic package managing the project from design, selecting finishes, procuring trade pricing and managing the construction process, saving you time and money.

We also work directly with trades, where we supply their quotes directly to you for absolute transparency as we do not put margins on top of third party (sub contractor) quotes. In addition to this we also hand our design/trade discounts directly to our clients because our focus is to approach each project as if it where our own. Cutting costs where necessary and utilising discounts to maximise the end result by better budget management.


We are able to provide a competitive quote to our clients because we work in volume providing design and renovation services to various realestate agents, builders and home owners.


Scope of Works : A detailed document listing all areas in an agreement where the work to be performed is described. The SOW will contain all renovation requirements, demolition/installs, deliverables on works to be carried out, and end products that are expected to be provided by the applicable trades itemised in all room areas & categories of construction timeline.

Trade Open Day : To ensure any identifiable issues are included in the fixed price building quote rather than avoidable extras during construction.

Design : Concept Mood Boards. (2 options) Communicating the following;

  • Conceptual design theme, exploring design references as per the brief

  • Material, Fixtures & Finishes selections

  • Joinery Design

  • Colour themes

  • Floor Plan (2x options)

  • Furniture layout / Spatial Planning

  • Indicative Design Elevations

  • x2 Rounds of design amendments/revision.

Selecting, Sourcing & Specifying : We work with you to choose fittings, tiles, tapware, bench tops, basins, window finishes, lighting, flooring. Then we take an aggressive approach to sourcing the best rate from various suppliers for each provisional item required for install.

Drafting : We develop construction drawings in detail with a complete schedule of specifications which are sent to trades for quotation and manufacture. We’ll include all the information required to ensure your project is kept on schedule, budget and in perfect line with the proposed design. The drawing package is essential for Strata submission - approvals.

Council or Strata Submission : A details submission of the design (floor plans) and renovation intentions is submitted for assessment and approval subject to council requirements or bylaws and applicable requirements. (engineer reports etc)

Tendering : Tender Procurement: trades, suppliers, manufactures. x3 competitive quotes across all aspects of the renovation for the best comparable rate. (quotes to all suppliers and trades will be directly handed to you for transparency)

Project Management : Prior to commencement of works, a detailed program is prepared and administered on a week-to-week basis to ensure a smooth flow of trades and on time completion.

FIXED PRICE BUILDING QUOTE

Our unique quoting process consisting of a customised set of specifications. This “Scope of Works” allows us to build your project on paper and eliminates any misinterpretation as to what is going to be built and how. This scope of works forms part of our building contract with you as our client and our sub-contractors. This attention to detail ensures no loss of communication.

The scope of works process consists of a “Trade Day” to ensure any identifiable issues are included in the fixed price building quote rather than avoidable extras during construction.

Prior to commencement of works, a detailed program is prepared and administered on a week to week basis to ensure a smooth flow of trades and on time completion. Utilising the complementary interior design service we offer as part of our build process, your designer will coordinate the ordering, specifying, delivery and installation of all your fixtures and fittings in accordance with your program.

Project Management is a standard inclusion when building with Complete Home.

Our team will collaborate with all required consultants, coordinating information required between architect, designer, project manager and council to ensure no loss of communication and a hassle free process for the client.

Project Management

Complete Home prides itself on its management processes, taking ownership of every aspect of your project.

With Complete Home, Project Management starts in design. Whether you’re a client who is working with us at concept stage or come to us with an approved design, our project manager, along with your allocated interior designer will take the lead and guide you through this process.

Project management is a standard inclusion as part of our fixed price building quote.
